Position Title: Draftsman
Location: Qatar (Doha and surrounding project sites)
Nationality: Open to Any Nationality
Employment Type: Contract (1 Year Renewable)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings plans and documentation for construction and engineering projects. The role requires proficiency in drafting software attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers architects and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings layouts and plans based on project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings as directed by engineers architects or project managers.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams to clarify design details and resolve drafting issues.
• Maintain organized records of drawings revisions and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project documentation upon completion.
• Review drawings for accuracy completeness and quality before submission.
• Support site teams with technical drawing-related requirements when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Drafting Engineering Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in construction engineering or related industries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings construction methods and industry standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of local construction practices in Qatar is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Work Location: Doha and surrounding areas in Qatar (depending on project requirements)
• Working Hours: 8 hours per day 1-hour break
• Working Days: 6 days per week with 1 day off
• Contract Duration: 1 year renewable based on performance and project requirements
