Job Description:

The welding quality control inspector has proficiency in utilizing precision measurement tools and gauges including paint inspection tools. They should also possess the ability to conduct layout and fitting inspections based on blueprints and P&IDs. Additionally candidates should be capable of calculating arc lengths and angles for the layout of cylindrical vessels. While NDE Certifications (SNTTC1A) such as VT Level II or AWS CWI MT Level II PT Level II RT Level II are preferred relevant class certifications will also be considered. Familiarity with ASME and ANSI Codes is essential. While proficiency with computer applications including Quality applications MS Office applications and ERP systems is strongly preferred experience in an ISO 9000 environment is also desirable.A minimum of 5 years of previous pressure vessel inspection experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is required. Minimum 2 years in a related technical program may apply to the experience requirement.
