Travel Hire is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveler Registered Nurse to join our team in New York NY. As a Traveler RN in our MedSurg department you will have the opportunity to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment providing care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting including assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the physician

Educate patients and their families on disease processes treatment plans and selfcare techniques

Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records

Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of New York

Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg experience

BLS certification

Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt to different work environments and patient populations

Willingness to travel to different facilities within the New York area

Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays
