About the company

Established in 2005 remote control productions (rcp) is an independent Munich production house for interactive entertainment. Covering everything from HR finance and legal support business development business intelligence and (creative) production rcp enables studios to get on with what they do best: creating great games. Our purpose is to empower support and emancipate game makers to create sustainably.

rcp is also the mothership for a family of in countries worldwide.

These group members operate across the interactive entertainment industry developing their projects with the support of rcp. This group of studios is a diverse team of over 500 individuals working in studios across Europe Asia and North America.

The rcp family has worked on more than 400 projects including Songs of Silence the Bus Simulator series Angry Birds Epic Angry Birds Evolution Windstorm Sacred Legends Shadow and Bone and The Ascent. Our interactive experiences include an internal VR project for BMW a longrunning platform for Teva and a training game for the Bundeswehr.

Your role

As a Trainee in Project & Studio Management at rcp you are automatically a part of our Padawan Crew. You will experience the process of founding a game development company financing the first projects and creating a name for the company towards longterm growth and sustaining the business. You will delve into different departments project management and corporate strategy in game development and learn how to evaluate and drive a company as a whole.

How does it work

• The traineeship lasts for 1824 months and you will work on different topics according to your skills wishes and personal fit
• You do not need to have fully developed skills but you should have a basic understanding and a strong interest in one of the following directions

You can develop and specialize in any area(s):

• Lesser Evil Publishing Unit: Research evaluate and acquire new games for our portfolio. Apply your knowledge of political science and demonstrate your interest and understanding of the gaming industry and market trends
• Social Media: get creative and original: maintain & expand our social media channels and contribute to our Social Media strategy
• Funding & Subsidies: assist our research in obtaining German and international funding to enable them to develop their games
• Market Research & Analytics: Analyze the data and trends in the games market and provide insights and recommendations

What do you need to join the rcp Padawans

• Speak German and English

• Residing in or near Munich

Timing & Recruiting process:

• Deadline to submit applications: Wednesday the 10th of January 2024
• The Assessment Center in Munich is expected to take place in the first week of February. (please note that we ask you to prepare a little homework for this :))
