Testing Engineer I

Purpose of the Position:
CLIENTs New Product Introduction team is responsible for the deployment of Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions to wireless Operators and channel partners. The Technology Introduction team works with Clients customers to develop product verification strategies and deploy Client RAN solutions in Operator labs field trials commercial trials qualification and First Field/Office Applications (FFA/FOA) in commercial networks. They are responsible for endtoend support deployment and operational activities for the Client Wireless ERAN solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated and resourceful individual to provide high quality customer support in the North American market to a large Tier1 Operator. The ideal candidate has expertise as a technical specialist and experience in IOT testing deployment troubleshooting and support skills on endtoend mobile networks.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Electronics Engineering Technology Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Equivalent
5 years of experience performing interoperability testing (IOT) of 4G and/or 5G ERAN and end to end testing in mobile infrastructure technology deployments including systems architecture troubleshooting and network operations
Solid understanding of Wireless Carriers and technologies (e.g. 4G/5G NSA and SA)
Technical understanding of networking protocols and security mechanisms such as SNMP SIP TR069 SSL/TLS LDAP Radius SOAP/XML
Detailed knowledge of IP Protocols including IPv4 IPv6 IPSEC routing protocols and network protocols
Experience with test equipment using various tools (QXDM XCAL Wireshark)
Ability to travel up to 50% travel will vary based upon field activities
