Registered Nurses in the Intensive Care Unit are responsible for planning implementing and evaluating individualized patient care delivery by:

• Assesses utilizing agespecific data the patient s physical and psychosocial status in a comprehensive manner
• Demonstrates accurate assessment skills appropriate to the age of the patient
• Performs ongoing assessments and completes required documentation within organizational standards
• Performs and documents including observation physical examination laboratory/test results and patient response to procedural intervention
• Participates in the identification and clarification of patient needs as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Assists other staff in the delivery of patient care as appropriate
• Incorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes

• 2 years of ICU Experience Required
• BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) Required
• IL RN License Required

• Work history
• Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
• Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 50mile radius restriction)
