Technician Facilities Ultra Pure Water - II

This position is for field work where they will be spending time out in the field working on industrial equipment (need to be able to lift 25lbs and/or wear protective personal equipment beyond basic). Not a desk job. Must be able to stand or walk for 12hour shift.


Job Duties: Position will be a Technician on night shift and will interact with engineering and Technicians to start up ultrapure water (UPW) systems on the Ronler Acres campus. Responsibilities will include but not be Limited to: Role modeling safety Starting up UPW equipment under direction of system engineer Taking UPW samples and performing routine analysis using test equipment Operating UPW equipment and system using computer interface Performing maintenance activities on UPW equipment and test equipment. Loading/unloading UPW resin RO membranes filters etc. Offloading Liquid chemicals from tank trucks to bulk storage tanks Using forklifts/mobile elevated platforms/pallet jacks to move equipment and materials Developing pre task plans Working as a team member with outstanding customer services skills REQUIRED SKILLS: Manager is Looking for someone with at Ieast 23 years of specific UPW operations experience.
Preferred Skills: Good Verbal and written communication skills including experience with MS Word/Excel and general familiarity with computer use.
Additional REQUIRED training: Hazardous material/chemical handling training including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Control of Hazardous Energies (CoHE) training CPR/first aid training Fall protection Iadder Safety training Scissor IIft/Mobile Elevated Work Platform training Fork IIft and pallet jack training Years of experience required:46 years AS degree preferred for this level. HS diploma or GED required.

Will train on Intel SWS/IW Makeup (UMK) and Primary (UPR) training packages through L2 as a requirement for position.
