Shift Schedule: Nights (12 Hours) Every other weekend
Job Description: The RN Progressive Care/Stepdown provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently which may include patients with varied and complex needs responsible for evaluating medical information.
Job Description: The RN Progressive Care/Stepdown provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently which may include patients with varied and complex needs responsible for evaluating medical information.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care to patients who require a level of monitoring and intervention between that provided in general medicalsurgical units and intensive care units.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients health status including vital signs cardiac monitoring neurological assessment and respiratory status
- Administer medications according to physician orders including IV medications titration of vasopressors or inotropes and pain management
Requirements:
Education: BSN / ASN
Experience: 2 years current PCU/Stepdown experience
Experience: 2 years current PCU/Stepdown experience
Certifications: BLS ACLS (AHA)
License: Vermont RN license Compact License allowed
- Current Charge experience Required
- Skills Checklist
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
