Summary:



The position of Service Foreman revolves around effectively coordinating the operations and resources that support the Rentals and Services divisions within the Company. The Service Foremans primary objective is to ensure seamless coordination within the Service and Rentals team ensuring adherence to time budget and quality commitments.

This role involves overseeing Service Technicians facilitating inventory management coordinating maintenance tasks and arranging the schedules of personnel and resources based at Trendsetters headquarters. The Service Foreman plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all preparatory and concluding procedures for projects. Moreover collaboration with other Trendsetter Rentals and Services team members is essential to ensure comprehensive planning for external projects. This participation encompasses attending meetings preparing documents ensuring equipment and personnel readiness and occasional travel as needed.




Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and allocate resources to ensure the execution of Rental and Services operations in alignment with the companys standards and vision.
  • Participate in the professional development and performance reviews of Service Technicians fostering growth and success while preparing them for future roles within operations.
  • Support the development of Service Technician staff aligning their skills with immediate business objectives and potential future responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with Service and Rentals management and project managers to outline work plans comprehend project responsibilities and define scopes of work.
  • Maintain schedules for field services work ensuring efficient coordination for technicians.
  • Identify process improvement areas within Service and Rentals operations proposing and facilitating agreedupon enhancements.
  • Contribute to the resolution of project performance challenges aiding in finding effective solutions.
  • Ensure Service Technicians effectiveness by assessing performance quality and client satisfaction.
  • Promote group awareness of the latest procedures and statutory requirements fostering compliance.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and manage the field service and maintenance schedule.
  • Facilitate coordination of 3rdparty inspections ensuring inspection certificates are readily accessible to the Company.
  • Review and support the development of work procedures aligning with efficient coordination.
  • Champion safety awareness and uphold all relevant safety procedures and regulations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in hydraulic equipment pumps fittings and tools used in building and testing subsea equipment.
  • Make informed equipment repair decisions both on and offshore to maintain operations.
  • Showcase proficiency in loading/offloading and rigging associated with the handling of heavy equipment.
  • Fulfill any other assigned duties in a coordinating capacity.



Qualifications:


  • At least five years of experience in subsea oil and gas services
  • Five or more years of experience involving assembly and test of oilfield or similar products.
  • This role requires individuals to be flexible and able to work autonomously
  • Ability to lead a team of technician and operations staff
  • Experience in mechanical electrical or hydraulic design of subsea products
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Trendsetter business software (e.g. Well MS Office NAV MVP Plant)
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
  • Comprehensive practical knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings including manufacturing general arrangement and hydraulic flow drawings.
  • Sound knowledge of subsea systems and equipment and an appreciation of related subsea equipment (e.g. trees chokes BOP stacks and manifolds).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
  • Ability to travel offshore domestically and internationally


Qualifications: Education: Engineering Degree from an EAC/ABET accredited program. E.I.T. Certification or passed FE exam preferred Experience and Skills: o Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and approval processes o Minimum of 2 years experience in subsea equipment design o Proficient in SolidWorks and ANSYS modeling software o Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, MS Project) Knowledgeable in AutoCAD 2D and Mathcad software Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and organizational skills Good communication & presentation skills, both written and oral Ability to adapt to change, when required due to the rapid response nature of business Work autonomously as well as under direction Handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
