Senior RedHat Administrator with Ansible

• Selected candidate must reside within two (2) hours of Federal Client Headquarters in Woodlawn MD.
  
• Selected candidate must be willing to work onsite at least 2 days a week.
  

• Develop highly innovative UI design Web components achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field. The candidate will continually assess advancements in technologies to gauge and recommend better solutions for the customer to improve the software developer experience and efficient delivery of software
  
• Attend all customer technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance the code quality/process
  
• Front end development using modern JavaScript and experience with ES6 features such as classes arrow functions template literals and modules
  
• Provide guidance/support to other junior/midlevel developers
  
• Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions processes standards or operational plans that position Federal Client competitively in the marketplace
  
• All other duties as assigned or directed.
  

• RHEL Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x/8.x Platform Administration installation configuration server patching and upgrading RHEL Ansible Playbook Development.
  
• Experienced in issue or problem analysis and troubleshooting.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field with 7 years of experience.
  
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field
  
• 7 years of experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x Platform Administration (administration installation configuration optimization backup & recovery)
  
• 7 years of experience with performance tuning & troubleshooting identifying and resolving memory CPU access networking disk I/O etc.
  
• 5 years of experience working Virtual Platforms
  
• 5 years of experience working with Ansible Playbooks (creating developing updating and executing)
  
• 3 years of experience with scripting languages for automation tasks and deployments (e.g. Bash Shell and Python)
  
• Expertise in the Linux commandline environment
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
  

• Solid experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administrator
  
• Excellent knowledge and experience with RHEL applications and tools Ansible Satellite RHEVM etc.
  
• Experience in providing support for installation configuration and troubleshooting of middleware applications.
  

• Adept at working independently but also in a team environment
  
• Demonstrated experience delivering technology solutions in a fastpaced deadline driven enterprise environment
  
• Excellent understanding of change management testing requirements techniques and tools to ensure high availability of systems
  
• Experience developing and maintaining Red Hat Ansible Playbooks
  
• Prior Federal government experience
  
• Selfstarter highly motivated individual who adapts to a dynamic work environment
  
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
