Senior Payroll Administrator

In this role you will take ownership of processing hourly & salaried payroll for employees while also being handson in areas of training process optimization and data analysis. This is a fulltime permanent position and is remote but candidates should reside in the Eastern or Central time zones and must be open to occasional travel to the corporate location.
Requirements
Must Haves
- Strong foundation in Ceridian Dayforce including processing payroll for at least 250 hourly and salary employees and creating and running reports
- 5 years of payroll processing and reporting experience with 2 years fully owning the process
- Prior experience training users of a payroll software and writing SOPs to standardize procedures
- A track record of analyzing payroll data and providing insights
- Ability to patiently and firmly hold others accountable to deadlines and training
- Proactive approach to problem solving with an eye for process improvements
- Associate degree in Business Accounting Human Resources or a related field or an equivalent combination of education certifications and work experience

- Experience running payroll in ADP

Must Haves 4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist (or similar title), including proven success partnering with employees and managers to deliver HR solutions and services in support of business objectives Knowledge and practical experience in two or more HR disciplines including (but not limited to) employee relations, compensation, performance management, engagement, and policy design Familiarity with state and federal employment laws A proven relationship builder and emerging leader who builds trust with employees and managers An emerging sense of business acumen; quick to understand the details of a client s business Polished communication skills and an ability to interact professionally with employees and managers Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, present solutions, and make recommendations An ability to manage time and deliverables effectively while shifting and pivoting as priorities change Bachelor s degree in HR, Business, Psychology or another related field Nice to Haves SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or similar designation preferred
