We are seeking a skilled Senior Database Administrator specializing in Oracle databases to join our team The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design implementation maintenance and performance of critical Oracle database systems This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure the seamless integration of database solutions into our projects and maintaining compliance with industry standards

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and manage Oracle database systems to ensure high levels of performance security and availability
• Perform regular database maintenance backups and disaster recovery operations
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schema queries and overall system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues including performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems
• Implement and maintain database security protocols and access controls
• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and solutions to meet evolving business requirements
• The work assignment in this profile would involve being onsite at the client site or providing remote support as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
• years of handson experience working with Oracle databases in a production environment
• Proficiency in database design implementation performance tuning installation configuration capacity planning security management backup recovery and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture features and functionality
• Experience in managing database security backups and recovery procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams and communicate effectively
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting
• Solid understanding of database security principles and best practices
• Experience in managing database upgrades patches and migrations
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex databaserelated issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
