Scrum Master

Title: Scrum Master

Location: Remote

Duration: 1 year

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our Agile team. The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for leading and guiding the team through the Scrum framework ensuring that the team follows Agile principles and Scrum practices and for removing any impediments that may be preventing the team from meeting its goals. The Senior Scrum Master will work closely with the Product Owner and the development team to ensure that product backlogs are properly prioritized and managed and that the team is delivering highquality software on time.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Scrum Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective
• Guide the team in following Agile principles and Scrum practices and identify areas for improvement
• Remove impediments that are preventing the team from meeting its goals
• Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog and ensure that it is properly prioritized and managed
• Coach and mentor team members in Agile and Scrum practices and facilitate the growth of the teams Agile and Scrum knowledge and skills
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members and stakeholders and ensure that all stakeholders are informed about the teams progress
• Develop and maintain project documentation and other relevant information as required
• Participate in Agile and Scrum community activities and continuously improve the teams Agile and Scrum knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• At least 57 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role in an Agile environment Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent Agile certification
• Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead motivate and support team members
• Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and effectively
• Experience with JIRA or other Agile project management tools

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodologies beyond Scrum such as Kanban Lean or XP Experience in software development with knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and related processes Experience working in a distributed Agile team environment
