Remote Full Stack Back-end-focused Engineer (Microservices, Python/Django, and GraphQL)

Only candidates with 7+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing.com is looking to hire a remote Full Stack Back-end-focused Engineer on behalf of a US-based company developing technology tools and platforms for creatives in the music entertainment industry. The engineer will be responsible for the product's system design and development approach while performing other leadership functions. The company’s high-growth platform equips artists together with their management teams to maintain their workflows, products, and other studio assets in one setting. Candidates who would like to join an established, VC-funded company in developing innovative entertainment management solutions are suitable for the job. It is a full-time, long-term opportunity and requires a minimum of 4 hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and assist with the system design and development approach
- Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products
- Stay familiar with the development process, culture, code-base, and work on optimizations
- Operate efficiently in work delivery and execute necessary steps to ensure quality
- Develop test strategies, frameworks, as well as unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 7 - 10 years of relevant Full Stack/Back-end engineering experience
- Must have some experience in Microservices, Python/Django, and GraphQL
- Proficiency with Node is nice to have
- Solid understanding of database technologies and schema design
- Experience building highly scalable products and web applications
