Remote Front-end Engineer (React and TypeScript)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking for a remote Front-end Engineer on behalf of a well-funded startup that is growing rapidly and committed to transforming the HR analytics industry. The engineer will be joining as one of the team's founding members and will be working closely with the company’s product that has a robust data-ingestion layer. The platform’s cutting-edge technology helps to turn employee data into relevant insights. It has managed to raise more than $2.5 mn during the Seed round of funding. This will be an exciting opportunity for developers to work in an agile environment while solving complex problems as they arise.

Job Responsibilities:

- Set the standard for future employees and build out the engineering function
- Collaborate with other developers in the team to improve the quality of solutions
- Review other developers code
- Work collaboratively to optimize and model the feed data to the front-end application


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant front-end engineering experience
- Demonstrable skills with React and TypeScript
- Must be an analytical thinker and a problem solver with an eye for simple yet powerful solutions
- Capable of working with little to no supervision
- Fluency in written and spoken English
