Remote DevOps Engineer (Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Restful API)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing.com is looking to hire a remote DevOps Engineer on behalf of a rapidly growing tech company delivering services that empower users to manage and maintain their lottery tickets. The engineer will be responsible for the server-side application and functionalities and building out features for the software platform. This position presents a great opportunity for the selected candidate to join a team of experts with experience from high-growth companies such as Facebook and Uber to tackle complex challenges while working in a global industry generating billions of dollars in revenue. It requires at least 4 - 6 hours of overlap with the Pacific time.

Job Responsibilities:

- Contribute technical insights to the platform to scale user engagements and drive internal projects
- Work on the analysis, delivery, and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
- Build systems and test automation infrastructures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to implement software optimizations


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
- Must have some experience in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Restful API
- Experience developing engineering applications for large and medium-sized projects
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Possess a high level of initiative and attention to details
