Remote Back-end Developer (Java, SpringBoot, Node.js, and JavaScript)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking for a remote Back-end Developer on behalf of a US-based platform dedicated to providing customers with affordable healthcare plans. The selected candidate will take charge of building scalable, high-quality applications and providing customer-centric solutions to complex issues. The company has managed to eliminate the role of middlemen in the healthcare and insurance sector, thereby providing customers with smoother administration services at lower prices. The company’s Series A round managed to raise fundings worth more than $16 mn. This is a nice opportunity for developers to showcase their skills while working with a talented team of developers and expanding their abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of planning, designing, and executing end-to-end web architecture
- Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products
- Build highly scalable and well-documented stacks
- Implement a test-oriented, holistic approach to identify, troubleshoot, and upgrade software


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
- Proficient with Java, SpringBoot, Node.js, and JavaScript
- Nice to have some experience with Kubernetes and GCP
- Fluent in English communication with effective collaboration skills
