Registered Dietitian - Outpatient

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking an Outpatient Registered Dietitian for 15-20 hrs/week in the area!

Schedule: Wednesday-Friday from 12:00PM-5:00PM

Compensation: $40.00-$46.00/hour DOE and travel compensation

*At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred*

Responsibilities:

• RD will work with the research study team to conduct consultations and follow up with the study participants
  
• RD will review physician and advanced care provider recommendations to counsel patient and family regarding dietary restrictions and recommendations
  
• RD will measure BMI of patient at each visit and provide dietary counseling appropriate for diagnoses and for weight management
  
• Perform nutrition focused physical exams to identify any signs of malnutrition
  
• Assess for presence of malnutrition by utilizing nutrition focused physical exam, interviewing the patient, and completing thorough chart reviews
  
• Develop and implement the nutrition care plan for all assigned patients
  
• Foster continuity of care among all phases across the continuum of care
  
• Continuously evaluate and monitor the effectiveness and outcomes of medical nutrition therapy intervention
  
• Provides nutrition education to patient and family members on appropriate food selections and eating behaviors to accomplish patient goals
  
• Record details of visit in medical records as well as in the Clinical Research Forms
  

Requirements

• Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  
• Experience providing general nutrition education
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills
  
• Experience with electronic charting systems
  
• Reliable transportation
