Location: Del Mar San Diego CA
Schedule: Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays
Salary Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms sterilizing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for dental treatments take dental Xrays and maintain patient records and charts on the computer.
• Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols maintain a clean and sterile environment and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.
• Instrument Maintenance: Clean sterilize and organize dental instruments as well as order and maintain dental supplies.
• Patient Education: Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and postoperative care guidelines.
• Administrative Tasks: assist with front office duties as needed.

Skills Required:

• Dental Assisting Certification: Must be a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or have completed a Dental Assistant program
• Infection Control Knowledge: Familiarity with infection control practices and OSHA regulations and have met CA required training hours.
• Dental Software Proficiency: Experience with dental practice management software (e.g. CurveDental) is a plus.
• PatientCentric Approach: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep treatment areas and instruments organized.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work cohesively within a dental team.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• CPR Certification: Current CPR certification is needed.
• Xray Certification
• Cosmetic and implant dentistry knowledge is a plus.
• Digital dentistry knowledge is a plus.
