We are seeking a detailoriented and highly organized individual to join our client s team as a Real Estate Accountant. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our property management business line.

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts.
  
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office Excel or Google Sheets.
  
• Must be familiar with one of the following three software platforms: Yardi AppFolio or MRI.
  

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
  
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial transactions.
  
• Conduct regular reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  
• Proactively review current procedures and seek ways to improve processes to ensure a timely monthly close the accuracy of accounting entries and operational efficiency.
  
• Participate in Employee Engagement activities that would promote the welfare and positive atmosphere for the team.
  
• Ability to be flexible with working hours/shifts. Shift schedules may vary and rest days may eventually be assigned outside weekends depending on business needs.
  
• An openness to performing Adhoc tasks may be assigned from time to time.
