Job Description:

The Radial Drill Operator Prepares drilling machines for operation by installing cutting tools finetuning speeds feeds and securely positioning workpieces. Executes drilling reaming countersinking and tapping operations on metal workpieces with utmost precision and accuracy using radial drilling machines. Utilizes engineering drawings blueprints and work instructions to discern drilling requirements and specifications effectively. Employs precision measuring instruments like micrometers calipers and gauges to meticulously inspect workpieces for accuracy dimensions and compliance with specifications. Conducts regular maintenance procedures on radial drilling machines to uphold peak performance and prevent operational interruptions. Upholds strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines ensuring a secure working environment while promptly identifying and reporting any safety hazards or concerns. Collaborates closely with team members including welders fabricators and supervisors to prioritize tasks and achieve production targets efficiently.

Requirements:

Proven track record as a Radial Drill Operator or in similar roles within metal fabrication or manufacturing environments. Competent in setting up and operating radial drilling machines efficiently. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints for precise drilling tasks. Strong attention to detail to ensure highquality standards are maintained consistently. Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for addressing operational issues effectively. Familiarity with basic machine maintenance tasks. Committed to upholding a safe work environment and knowledgeable about safety procedures and protocols. Effective communication skills both verbal and written facilitating collaboration with team members and accurate task execution. Able to handle heavy materials and perform in physically demanding conditions.
