Our client is a multinational company in the food industry.
The Quality Director is responsible for policy, strategy, and testing methodology to meet regulatory authority compliance in regard to our products. They will assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at high-level standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Advanced Technical Scientific degree (MS, Ph.D.).
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Quality Management in food companies preferred experience in the chilled category
Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulation and comfortable with regulatory interpretation
PCQI FDA certification
Foreign language Italian preferred / Required
Good team management skills
Able to work well independently, self-motivated, and as a team member
Good leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to train the staff
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, suppliers customers, and USDA
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently
Possesses excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Detailed knowledge and track record of successful implementation of food manufacturing policies and procedures (GMP)
