Production Control Manager

Job description

• Develop and implement production plans schedules and strategies to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
  
• Monitor production progress against deadlines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production targets and delivery dates.
  
• Collaborate with manufacturing procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  
• Analyze production data identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize production workflows and reduce downtime.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Manage and maintain inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing excess stock and costs.
  
• Lead mentor and develop the production control team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  
• Prepare and present reports on production performance including key performance indicators (KPIs) efficiency metrics and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  
• Liaise with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding production status and delivery timelines.
  
• Implement and leverage advanced production planning and control software tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in scheduling and forecasting.
  
• Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure that production outputs meet the required standards and specifications.
  
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes providing insights and forecasts related to production capacity resource needs and potential bottlenecks.
  
• Lead crossfunctional projects to drive improvements in the supply chain manufacturing processes and customer satisfaction.
  
• Stay abreast of industry trends technologies and best practices in production control and manufacturing operations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production control planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a highperforming team.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  
• Excellent organizational and project management skills capable of managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Proficient in using production planning and inventory management software systems.
  
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
  
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and deadlines.
