Product Owner

Location: 1801 S. Bell Street Arlington, VA [Crystal City] Must be willing to come in office 3x a week [flexibility in terms of which days]

Top 3+ Skills please include in submittal:

• 2+ years of experience in product management with building and shipping successful digital products
• Strong working understanding of the Atlassian platform tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with designing and delivering excellent demos/prototypes to showcase vision to stakeholders.

You will operate across business units as part of our internal system product group, driving innovative solutions for our internal teams and external customers. You will lead a product team of designers, engineers and other subject matter experts to come up with solutions that are valuable (our customers choose to use), viable (the solution works within the many constraints of the business), usable (the user can figure out how to use) and feasible (our engineers have the skills and technology to implement). You have strong leadership and communication skills and understand that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the product team contributing their passion and ideas.

You have a working understanding of the Atlassian platform tools such as JIRA and Confluence and are invested in the growth of these tools within INDG.

What you will do:

• Drive the roadmap and product plan execution for your product area.
• Collaborate with business teams to establish strategies and priorities
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to develop solutions
• Lead discovery efforts for major capabilities, engaging external and internal stakeholders and product teams.
• Define metrics and systems to track product performance. Clearly communicate performance and use data to evaluate and prioritize roadmap.
• Engage with users regularly to develop a deep understanding of their business needs, workflows and how they engage with our products.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in product management with building and shipping successful digital products
• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data informed, written narrative.
• Experience with designing and delivering excellent demos/prototypes to showcase vision to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
