Process Engineer

Growing Company in Tampa Bay Florida has a need for a Sr Process Engineer. It is a direct hire role with a full benefits package.

Previous Work Experience:

• Minimum of two years experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Process development implementation and improvement experience is required.
• Catheterbased medical device design and manufacturing experience is desired.

Essential Functions:

• Research and develop new & improved manufacturing processes.
• Oversee and manage the implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot existing manufacturing processes to ensure acceptable product quality.
• Provide technical oversight of existing processes to improve yields reduce voids and address customer concerns.
• Monitor the performance of existing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct testing including developing Design of Experiments to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to select equipment develop process layouts and qualify new or improved processes.
• Support Materials Engineering on the experimentation & implementation of new raw materials.
• Evaluate processes to ensure compliance with applicable environmental and safety standards.
• Develop and execute process validations using IQ OQ & PQ methods.

Skills and Abilities:

• Analyze and determine root cause of problems and develop solutions addressing root causes.
• Apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Possess project management skills and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understand and interpret specifications on customer drawings.
• Follows MicroLumen procedures policies and documentation.
• Basic understanding of the following ISO Standards (13485 and 10993).
• Basic abilities in CAD software SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with others and communicate effectively.

BS in Engineering required.
