Piping engineers shall have relevant education background with the assigned discipline, and shall have bachelor s degree minimum. A Piping engineer shall be with at least 8 years of practical experience in oil and gas field preferably in the upstream oil industry, with a broad background in production projects. The candidates shall have experience in specifying large pipeline system, design / selection of pipes and other mechanical materials.

The candidates shall be conversant with pipeline international standards and good engineering practices. A knowledge of using pipeline and mechanical software are required. The candidate who is able to perform complex and extensive calculations on pipeline designing software is preferred.

The candidate shall be able to carry out the following activities:

1- Preparation of Design basis

2- Prepare tender specifications for line pipe, line materials, terminal materials.

3- Prepare tender specifications for line pipe coating and transportation, terminals & pipeline laying, HDD crossings.

4- Prepare equipment layouts.

5- Prepare General Arrangement Drawings.

6- Carryout technical evaluation of bids.

7- Review vendor/contractors documents.

• Bachelor s degree minimum
  
• Must have more than 15 years of experience in oil and gas field preferably in the upstream oil industry
  
• At least 10 years of project management experience in relating design project
  
• At least 5 years of oversea project experience.
  
• Good English Skills Speaking, Reading and Writing
  
• Must have good skills of speaking Mandarin Chinese
