Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients medical history and symptoms

Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret test results

Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with digestive disorders

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients

Monitor and manage patients progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans

Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options

Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records

Stay uptodate with advancements in the field of gastroenterology and participate in continuing education opportunities

Adhere to all medical and ethical standards policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Board certification in gastroenterology

Valid state medical license and DEA registration

Minimum of 2 years of experience in gastroenterology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills

Proficient in electronic medical record systems
