Key Responsibilities:

• Performing phacoemulsification surgeries for cataract patients.
• Assessing and diagnosing ophthalmic conditions in patients.
• Providing preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing phacoemulsification.
• Collaborating with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and surgical outcomes.
• Participating in surgical rounds and other clinical activities.
• Assisting in the management of ophthalmic emergencies.
• Conducting regular patient consultations and followup appointments.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of ophthalmic care protocols.
• Participating in continuous medical education and training programs.
• Maintaining accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
• Adhering to medical ethics and professional standards in all clinical activities.
• Participating in research and academic activities in the field of ophthalmology.
• Providing guidance and supervision to junior medical staff and trainees.
• Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols in the clinical setting.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.
• Valid state medical license and board certification.
• Completion of residency training in Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship or additional training in Phacoemulsification.
• Proven experience in performing phacoemulsification surgeries.
• Indepth knowledge of ophthalmic conditions and treatment techniques.
• Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in phacoemulsification technique.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and medical staff.
• Demonstrated commitment to patientcentered care and ethical medical practice.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
