East Bay client seeking a temp-hire payroll specialist to take on the responsibility for all payroll-related activities and processes. The hourly rate for this position is $26-$32, depending on relevant experience. Please contact me directly or attach your resume for further information regarding this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process off-cycle checks and bonuses, and process regular payroll information weekly
- Process payroll for all employees in the company
- Enter relevant information into company spreadsheets and databases
- Acquire all required signatures to distribute payroll in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws for all duties and reporting requirements related to payroll for multiple states
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related issues or concerns
- 1-3 years of experience in payroll or related field
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in work, and strong communication skills
- Experience in multi-state payroll preferred, but not required
- Experience using Paychex software is a plus
