About Us
Since its establishment in 1950 the Yamaguchi Manufacturing Group has responded to customer needs by supplying highquality products from the most suitable production sites mainly in Asia.
We have machinery and equipment capable of handling a wide range of metal products both large and small through cold forming and precision cutting processes and we have an integrated inhouse production system for everything from general small screws to special precision functional parts.
In recent years we have been working on the production of plastic products in line with the shift to electric vehicles. With our worldwide network we will continue to contribute to the diverse needs of our customers not only in the automotive industry but also in all other fields as a parts manufacturer.
Roles and Responsibility
- Sales & Marketing / Sales Representative to existing and potential customers
- Answer customer correspondence ranging from daily inquiries quoting quality issues and general pricing negotiations via email telephone and inperson meetings.
- Obtain new businesses by regular sales calls/meetings with customer and following the RFQs.
- Seek out potential new customers for new business opportunities and execute cold calls presentation and obtain RFQs for revenue growth.
- Maintain maximum profitability of businesses by correctly pricing the items as per internal approval process.
- Will be directly responsible for sales and marketing under supervision of AM and GMwill report to both.
- Maintain good customer relationships.
- Logistics/Supply Chain management
- Oversee general supply chain/logistics management of our products coming from overseas based on customer needs and lead time
- Manage or execute adequate supply chain control by reflecting the current situation surrounding customer forecasts orders inventory and lead time
- Work with warehouse to adequately control space and inventory.
- General administrations of warehouse/office management
- Manage general HR for our workers (office/warehouse) relations.
- Overall management of our daily operations coordinating with office admin and warehouse workers
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year sales/marketing experience at a manufacturing firm
- Microsoft skills (Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint PDF)
- High school diploma or higher
- Has a valid drivers license and good driving history
- Eagerness to challenge new things
Experience at a Japanese manufacturing firm a plus (no Japanese language required)
