Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager OCI Cloud Native Architect to join our team.

This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and extensive experience in presales delivery and program management with a focus on cloudnative architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of architects driving successful presales activities overseeing the endtoend delivery of OCI projects and managing programlevel initiatives.

This is a seniorlevel position that requires strong leadership technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

1. Presales Leadership:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop compelling OCI cloudnative solutions.

Lead the creation of technical proposals presentations estimations and demonstrations to showcase the value of OCI cloudnative architecture to potential clients.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients providing expert guidance on OCI cloudnative architecture and best practices.

2. Delivery Management:

Oversee the endtoend delivery of OCI cloudnative projects ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Define project scope objectives and deliverables and develop detailed project plans.

Manage project resources timelines and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

3. Program Management:

Lead and manage multiple OCI cloudnative projects simultaneously ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Develop and maintain programlevel plans schedules and budgets.

Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.

Monitor program performance identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

4. Team Leadership:

Lead a team of architects providing guidance mentorship and support to ensure their professional growth and development.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and identify training needs for team members.

Essential Skills

Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering or a related field. Masters degree preferred.

Extensive experience in presales delivery and program management with a focus on cloudnative architecture preferably in the cloud services industry.

Strong knowledge and handson experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloudnative architecture principles.

Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex OCI cloudnative projects.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

Relevant certifications in OCI or related cloud technologies are highly desirable.

Profound comprehension of Docker Docker volumes Docker network and handson experience in creating Docker Compose files for complex containerized applications.

Indepth knowledge of core Kubernetes services including Kube API Kube Proxy Kube Scheduler etc and proficiency in creating and managing deployments replicas pods secrets services PV PVC ingress controls ingress resources load balancers roles role bindings network policies stateful pods etc. Experience in deploying highly available Kubernetes clusters on various cloud vendors with different Kubernetes flavors like OpenShift Rancher RKE or 3KS OKE (Oracle Kubernetes Engine) Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) Azure AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).

Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD GitHub/GitLab/GitBucket for source code repository Terraform IaC for infrastructure provisioning Ansible for configuration management and automation. Knowledge of DevSecOps for Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus for Kubernetes observability and monitoring.

Experience with Argo CD for continuous delivery in Kubernetes.

Ability to set up disaster recovery (DR) for Kubernetes clusters in both cloud and onpremises environments.
