Job Title: School Occupational Therapist

Location: Near Monroe GA

Are you a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students Clarifi Staffing is seeking a qualified School Occupational Therapist to join our team for theschool year. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade in the Monroe GA area. Some travel between job sites may be required but compensation will be provided.

As a School Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in a schoolbased setting. You will collaborate with educators parents and other members of the school team to support student success and promote independence in the educational environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of students motor skills sensory processing and functional abilities to determine eligibility for occupational therapy services.
   
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings IEP objectives and student needs.
   
3. Provide direct occupational therapy services to students including therapeutic activities exercises and interventions to improve fine motor skills visualmotor coordination sensory processing selfcare abilities and functional independence.
   
4. Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals and strategies into the classroom environment and daily routines.
   
5. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed documenting student outcomes and progress towards goals.
   
6. Provide support and education to parents and caregivers on strategies for promoting skill development and independence at home.
   
7. Participate in IEP meetings team meetings and other collaborative activities to support the multidisciplinary team approach to student services.
   
8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions progress notes and other required paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations.
   

Requirements

Master s in Occupational Therapy.

GA Occupational Therapy license required.

Prior occupational therapy experience working with children with disabilities.

Onsite services required.
