Clover Park Technical College (CPTC) is seeking 3 highly-skilled and innovative Nursing instructor to build a supportive environment for adult learners as they train for a career in Nursing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with the program’s diverse student body. This individual will help support the colleges work to cultivate an inclusive culture and campus climate by valuing diversity, sustaining an environment of belonging, and promoting equitable opportunities for all. The successful candidate will work to eliminate equity gaps and help students succeed in their chosen career path and in what is an increasingly diverse work environment.
Well qualified applicants should be enthusiastic about continuously working to keep curriculum relevant, researching and implementing curricular and program changes to best prepare students for the dynamic careers that await them. The Nursing instructor is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating nursing curriculum for classroom, lab and/or clinical/simulation instruction for current and future nursing programs. Programs in the School of Nursing currently include Practical Nurse and Nursing Assistant, and a new LPN-RN Transition program that will be offered in the evenings and weekends beginning in Fall 2023. These programs are designed to prepare students for entry level positions in health care. The candidate must demonstrate adequate knowledge of and proficiency in program content areas, technology and industry standards. The candidate must work as a member of the team to help maintain program accreditation standards, have the ability to teach at the professional and technical college level and must work well with a collaborative team.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with fellow faculty, administration and staff and carry out functions related to the position as described below. The candidate will work collaboratively with advising and other student services to best support student success. Additionally, the successful candidate will work collaboratively as an active participant in our shared governance processes.

Minimum Qualifications
To meet the minimal educational requirement, a successful applicant must meet one of the three education requirements below.
Nursing Program Instructor- Tenure/Track- seeking to fill 3 open positions. Work schedule is day, evenings and weekends.
**THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A TEMPORARY ANNUAL BASE SALARY INCREASE AND POTENTIALLY A TEMPORARY STIPEND. SEE SALARY INFORMATION BELOW**
Permanent Base Salary: $76,985
If you have a Bachelor’s Degree, Temporary Annual Base Salary is $103,222
If you have a Master’s Degree, Temporary Annual Base Salary is $103,222 plus a temporary stipend of $5,325.44
*Temporary Annual Based Salaries and temporary stipend are exclusively contingent upon Washington State funding appropriated to the College by HB2158. The Permanent Base Salary is eligible for cost-of-living adjustments (COLA). The Temporary Annual Base Salaries and temporary stipend are not eligible for COLA’s.
