Job Description:

As a Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of conveyor belt systems in industrial settings. Your primary duty will be to conduct regular inspections troubleshoot issues perform repairs and implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. You will work closely with the maintenance team and production staff to uphold safety standards and optimize conveyor belt performance.

Responsibilities:

The Technician conducts routine inspections of conveyor belt systems to identify signs of wear damage or malfunction. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues affecting conveyor belt performance. Perform repairs replacements and adjustments on conveyor belt components such as rollers pulleys belts motors and bearings. Implements preventive maintenance schedules to lubricate parts tighten bolts align belts and replace wornout components to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and protocols while working on conveyor belt systems to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities including inspection reports repair logs and parts inventory. Collaborates with maintenance team members production personnel and equipment suppliers to coordinate maintenance activities and optimize conveyor belt operations. Responds promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and restore conveyor belt functionality. Provide training and support to operators and maintenance personnel on proper conveyor belt operation maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Identifies opportunities for process improvements efficiency enhancements and cost savings related to conveyor belt maintenance and operation.
