About the Job!

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for running and supervising the operation of various machines such as stick pack machines small and large pouch containers drypowder filling machines and other assembly line machines. You will also be responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring optimal machine performance and conducting routine maintenance. This role includes the supervisory responsibility of 23 mechanic operators.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on the upkeep and repair of automation equipment
  
• Operate and monitor specialized machinery and equipment related to the production process
  
• Conduct regular inspections maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal functionality
  
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues performing necessary adjustments and repairs to maintain efficiency and safety
  
• Report any safety hazards incidents or accidents promptly and participate in safety training as required
  
• Create and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machine operation
  
• Collaborate and communicate with the machine vendor technicians when needed
  
• Collaborate with the Quality Control Team and direct supervisor to address any discrepancies in the production process
  
• Communicate with your direct supervisor when materials are needed for machine repairs or operations
  
• Supervising the mechanic operators ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards
  
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members on machine operations and maintenance procedures
  
• Build repair and configure new machines
  

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
  
• Day shift
  
• Monday to Friday
  
• Morning shift
  
• Weekends as needed
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
• Technical certification or relevant course work in mechanics or machinery operations is preferred
  
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain machinery effectively
  
• Exceptional communication and training skills
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  
• Ability to work in a teamoriented environment and communicate with colleagues
  
• Proven experience as a Mechanic Operator or in a similar role particularly in a warehouse environment
  
• Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations
