Maintenance Technician

1. Provide all required electronic system maintenance work including work orders preventive and predictive maintenance throughout the plant.
2. Ensure efficient and effective utilization of equipment and tool resources to minimize waste downtime and unit cost.
3. Communicate with all team members and other plant personnel as required for the efficient execution of the electronic maintenance program.
4. Provide coverage for plant operations during all plant production periods sharing in regular and overtime requirements as well as coverage during periods of otherteam member vacations and absences. Support plant equipment maintenance during available nonproduction times.
5. Ability to lay out assemble install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs and replace gauges valves pressure regulators and other related equipment as needed.
6. Utilize maintenance software to accurately; create track and close all work orders parts orders and inventory control.
7. Ability to solve practical problems dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral schematic or schedule form.
8. Support all ISO 14001 Standards and Quality Objectives. Comply with cGMP HACCP Food Safety Requirements and Chain of Custody Program Requirements.
9. Comply with all OHSE procedures and policies including required PPEs standard operating procedures quality policies and regulations at all times.
10. Develop and maintain PLC and computer programming for the plant.
11. Train other members of the Maintenance Team on plant electronic systems functions and operations.

Tasks

1. AS degree in Industrial Maintenance and Electronic Controls or equivalent education with 35 years of experience or a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with 57 years of related work experience in Industrial Maintenance and Electronic Controls.
2. Minimum of eight years experience in a manufacturing facility. Experience in a gravure printing facility is a plus. Must be proficient in all phases of mechanical troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatic equipment including repairs and replacement of gauges valves pressure regulators and related equipment.
3. Broad knowledge of cleaning and lubricating shafts bearings and gears

Requirements

1. Prolonged periods of standing stooping bending and/or reaching
   balancing climbing kneeling crouching reaching with hands and arms hearing and speaking.
2. Must be able to manipulate hands to hold touch and feel product and equipment in a safe manner. Manual dexterity is required.
3. Use of close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
