MercyOne Waterloo is looking for an Endocrinology Locum provider to cover long term starting as soon as credentialed!
Clinic only MondayFriday 6 month assignment 8a5p 1 hour unpaid lunch Need to be able to see new patients and follow ups At least 12 patients per day no procedures treatments required: full spectrum on endocrinology. We also do bone density in this clinic. We do have a stand along cancer treatment center within a few blocks so cancer patients can be referred there for specific cancer treatments but would follow up with endo for ongoing care. Must be willing to prescribe antiobesity meds (phentermine Topamax wegovy etc) along with the following patients (via labs an/or visits) for drugs such as methimazole and levothyroxine. A lot of diabetic patients. We have diabetic educators that can assist with education and sensor downloads. Diabetes cushings graves hyperthyroidism hypothyroidism parathyroid carcinoma adrenal cancer thyroid cancer EMR: EPIC Additional practice information will be shared soon! Requirement description :
- Board Certified or Board Eligible(within 5 years of training)
- IA license or IMLC highly preferred
- BLS or ACLS willing to obtain
