We are seeking a Loan Collection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the loan collections process, ensuring that customers comply with loan agreements and that delinquent loans are resolved in a timely and effective manner, includingcontacting customers with delinquent accounts, negotiating payment plans, and taking appropriate collection actions to resolve the accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Contact customers with delinquent accounts via phone, SMS, and mail
- Develop and implement loan collections policies and procedures
- Monitor loan collections activity to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Review delinquent accounts and determine appropriate collection actions
- Negotiate payment plans with customers to resolve delinquent accounts
- Initiate legal action against delinquent accounts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of loan collections activity
- Provide regular reports on loan collections performance to management
- Work with customers and insurance companies on claims and policy verification
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 9 am 5 pm.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan collections or a related field
- Strong knowledge of loan collections regulations and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
