Lead Software Engineer (Java)

The Scoring Team is the heart of our partner company. They essentially collect data and provide it to customers so they can block fraud. They are continuously adding new data sources to improve their complex real-time analysis. It s a mission that involves core product functions such as backend and frontend development, R&D, design, and database development.

• Collaborate with product leadership in product planning, resource management and dependency management
  
• Help to design new functionalities with the Architect team
  
• Support the development team in setting expectations with regular 1:1s and constant feedback
  
• Participate in recruitment to scale the team
  
• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules
  
• Code quality assurance - understanding how the code is structured and finding the best ways to improve it
  
• Execute and delegate development tasks to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  
• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure developments are delivered in time and high quality
  
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  

Requirements

• Deep knowledge ofJava, Spring Boot
  
• Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
  
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, troubleshooting and technology support skills
  
• Strongleadershipand organizational skills
  
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
  
• Willingness to build professional relationships with different stakeholders
