Lead DevOps Engineer AWS

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design implementation and management of our AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability reliability and costefficiency.
• Utilize Terraform to automate provisioning configuration and deployment tasks maintaining infrastructure as code principles.
• Employ Docker to containerize applications and Kubernetes for orchestration enabling seamless deployment and scaling.
• Manage Helm charts for efficient deployment of applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Design and execute CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD automating software builds testing and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with software development teams to optimize application performance troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth deployments.
• Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers offering guidance on best practices tools and technologies.
• Continuously monitor and enhance system performance reliability and security.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and process improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 6 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud services such as EC2 S3 IAM RDS and VPC.
• Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes and Helm for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and handson experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in version control systems particularly Git.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash Python or Ruby.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.
