Land Acquisition Manager Solar Energy Projects

Location: London (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the negotiation and acquisition of land agreements.

• Maintain daily communication and rapport with landowners land agents and legal representatives including arranging and facilitating site meetings throughout project progression.

• Conduct initial investigations into property titles by examining land registry records and collaborating with landowners and their representatives.

• Provide regular updates and collaborate with the development team to enhance project efficiency and minimize potential risks.

• Play a vital role in identifying and securing promising project opportunities while fostering close collaboration with our grid operations and planning teams.

• Take the lead or provide support in the initial stages of development including planning management coordination and financial oversight of renewable energy projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Extensive background in the development of solar energy projects encompassing site identification feasibility assessments and land development initiatives.

• Profound understanding of land rights contractual agreements and essential elements of site evaluation.

• Advanced proficiency in contract management adept at guiding legal representatives and landowners through the negotiation and contracting process.
