IL Ultrasound Tech -- Nights -- ID 2023-14123

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for an Ultrasound Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Carbondale IL 62901

Assignment Start Date: 3/4/2024

13 weeks Nights 10hour 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Overnight shift only sees ER and inpatient. We have an OB unit so there are OB cases through the night. The average patient volume for this shift ranges from 39 patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs ultrasound and radiography exams as appropriate
• Assist with clerical and office duties.
• Utilizes PACS and EMR systems.
• Maintain appropriate IV/Contrast competency.
• Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position exposure control and radiation protection.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
• Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
• Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred

Education: An Associates degree in Radiology/Ultrasound or a Certificate Program in Radiology/Ultrasound is required

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• ARRT
• Must be vascularcertified ARDMS (RVT)
• BLS/BCLS is required

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
