Salary Range: $110000.00 $130000.00 discretionary bonus

Requirements:

• 5 years General Contractor experience (not subcontractor)
• 5 years of experience on healthcare projects
• Experience with projects over $5M

This company is a large general contractor that works in a variety of industries including healthcare hospitality education and industrial doing ground up construction as well as renovations.

About the Role

The Healthcare Project Estimator will build comprehensive bids for construction projects in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Review and outline project specifications then establish bid strategies concerns and advantages
• Define major or priority subcontractors and foster new and existing subcontractor relationships
• Utilize SmartBidnet to invite and coordinate vendors/subcontractors to bid
• Define work scopes for subcontractors
• Lead prebid meetings with operations and subcontractors as needed
• Assist operations staff on project logistics staging phasing plans and coordination
• Set up bid spreadsheets or conceptual spreadsheets to complete a bid
• Accurately takeoff as required for CSI Divisions 146
• Price items of both selfperformed and subcontracted work on a per unit basis by utilizing subcontractor and field production data
• Ensure coverage with the plans coordinators
• Responsible for review and execution of bid projects including bid forms bid bonds etc.
• Review estimates for accuracy constructability and risks
• Establish realistic project deadlines

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree of creativity and innovation
• Ability to lead an estimate and take full charge of both Public Works or Private Client bids
• Can utilize strategic and innovative methods to obtain sub coverage for bids especially in new geographic areas
• Experience with selfperformance of concrete and carpentry
• Must be able to schedule and be proficient in Timberline DESTINI OST MS Word Excel and Outlook
