Role Background

The Head of Investor Relations role will report to the CEO and work closely with the CEO and Head of Sales to lead the Investor Relations Team. This role is an individual contributor plus a team lead role where this role is expected to bring in new investors manage existing investors keep high engagement with HNW UHNW Investors Institutional Investors Family Offices etc ensure low attrition of existing investors with regular and effective engagement grow the AUM to meet the disbursal business plan and manage a team of 34 junior Investor relation managers. The role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in wealth management private banking with a network of HNW UHNW clients Institutional Investors Family Offices etc who also comes with team leader experience to lead the Investor Relations team and grow the company as the leading lender to SMEs in Thailand.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact of the team to incumbent and prospective HNW UHNW Institutional Investors Family Offices etc; manage and grow the team to effectively manage our existing investor client base.
  • Oversee business development and investor sales; grow and foster our investor client base; directing prospecting managing conversion and guiding ongoing servicing processes and standards.
  • Manage and execute client acquisition strategy directing outreach resources; Build and maintain strong relationship with Platforms Brokers Fund houses & Other Institutions.
  • Develop the investor acquisitions roadmap (e.g. target group acquisition channels funding estimation etc.) in alignment with the Companys disbursal plan. Bring in THB 1bn in new funds within 2024 and manage the existing AUM to support the disbursal plan. Lead a team of 3 4 members and support the growth in 2025 to meet 3x volumes for supporting the growth in assets.
  • Work closely with Head of Sales to make sure all targets are being met.
  • Work closely with other functions (particularly Risk and Sales) to ensure a close feedback loop relating to investors demand and preferences.
  • Develop an effective communication strategy using digital and hybrid channels for regular recall amongst investors as the platform for higher returns with moderate risks.
  • Handle difficult communication with investors to communicate about portfolio losses.
  • Manage and enhance the investor portfolio dashboards both for client holding reporting needs and for aggregate portfolio analytics and review; further enhance performance tracking and signals management.
  • Identify recruit and manage a team of high performing Investor Relations sales team.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of team to meet targets and KPIs and ensure compliance with policies and other regulations.
  • Ensure ongoing training for the team on the products offered by Siam Validus as well as on the portfolio status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Finance or related field; MBA or advance degree preferred.
  • 810 years within wealth management private banking investor relations with experience in bringing in new HNW & UHNW investors Institutional Investors Family Offices etc; managing existing investors team management and driving and executing strategic initiatives will be preferred.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships amongst diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a strategic mindset to grow the business responsibly for achieving scale.
  • Sound knowledge of financial services regulations crowd funding regulations compliance standards and industry best practices is a plus.
