Job Description:

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced glazier to join our team in the Tulsa area. The glazier will be responsible for cutting, installing, and repairing glass windows, doors, and other surfaces in residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and cut glass to specific dimensions and shape using various cutting tools. Install glass into frames using putty, rubber gaskets, or other sealing agents. Secure glass into frames with clips, bolts, or other fasteners. Repair or replace broken or cracked glass panes. Install mirrors and reflective surfaces in residential and commercial settings. Work with various types of glass, including tempered, laminated, and insulated glass. Ensure that all glass surfaces are properly cleaned and polished after installation. Adhere to safety protocols and use proper protective gear when handling glass. Work collaboratively with other members of the installation team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program in glazing. At least 2 years of experience as a glazier. Knowledge of the properties of different types of glass and how to work with them. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents. Proficiency in using cutting tools and other equipment related to glazing. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
