Freelance Web Developer

This is a remote position.

Business Financial Group (BFG) is a familyowned and operated professional accounting and Payroll Company based in Atlanta GA USA. We are committed to providing personalized accounting Bookkeeping Payroll and Tax Services to business owners in the USA with five to twenty employees.

We currently have an opening for a Freelance Web Developer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Website Development and Management: Design develop and maintain websites and web/mobile applications using various programming languages and technologies.
  

• Content Management: Expert at updating and managing website content using Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress Joomla or Drupal.
  

• FrontEnd Development: Create visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces by translating design mockups into responsive web pages. To achieve this utilize HTML CSS JavaScript (variants like react node or any other known language).
  

• BackEnd Development: Implement serverside logic and database integration to ensure data is securely stored and retrieved as needed.
  

• CrossBrowser Compatibility: Ensure websites and applications work seamlessly across browsers and devices.
  

• Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance such as loading times and server response for a better user experience.
  

• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and fix web application bugs errors and other technical issues.
  

• Security: Implement security best practices to protect websites from common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and crosssite scripting (XSS).
  

• Collaboration: Work closely with designers marketing and other team members to ensure the website meets business objectives and design requirements.
  

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends new web technologies and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
  

Requirements

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  

• Minimum two years of experience in web/mobile app development.
  

• Proficient in programming languages for frontend/backend development for websites and mobile applications.
  

• Strong project management and problemsolving skills.
  

• Experience with web development tools and libraries.
  

• Familiarity with web design principles (UI) user experience (UX) and responsive design.
  

Working Hours:

Monday through Friday 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM (IST) (One hour break from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM IST).
