Fleet Controller

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Officer for our Fleet Services department. The Officer will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles ensuring their safety reliability and compliance with regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in fleet management.

Tasks

• Oversee the daytoday operations of the fleet department including vehicle maintenance repairs and inspections.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and longevity of fleet vehicles.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for vehicle repairs maintenance and parts procurement.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics such as fuel consumption mileage and maintenance costs and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards for fleet operations including vehicle inspections emissions testing and licensing.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs as well as inventory of spare parts and equipment.
• Provide training and support to drivers on safe driving practices vehicle inspections and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments such as logistics and procurement to meet the transportation needs of the organization.

Requirements

Qualification(s):

B Degree in Fleet Management or equivalent

Experience:
