First Party Property Attorney

Our client a prominent firm specializing in property damage insurance claims business litigation disputes and personal injury matters is seeking a talented and motivated First Party Property or Personal Inury Associate or with 3 years of experience to join our team.

As an integral part of our legal team you will have the opportunity to work alongside lead attorneys gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and growthoriented environment. Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities including gathering analyzing and organizing information; drafting legal pleadings discovery deposition attendance and summaries as well as trial preparations and other legal documents.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with lead attorneys and support staff
  
• Conduct client interviews and locate/interview expert witnesses
  
• Draft a wide range of legal documents including discovery motions appellate briefs affidavits memoranda and letters
  
• Investigate factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests
  
• Assist in all phases of case preparation from discovery to trial
  
• Provide trial support and attendance as required
  
• Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues such as attorneyclient privileged materials
  
• Travel throughout the state as needed to meet business requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

• Current TN Bar License in Good Standing
  
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  
• 3 years of experience in First Party Property damage insurance claims business litigation disputes OR personal injury matters (Plaintiff side)
