Authorities

• The Financial Manager will be authorized to sign off expenditure in line with the mandate levels as below:
  
• Operating expenses up to R500 000 and budgeted
  
• Operating expenses up to R100 000 and not budgeted.
  
• Capital expenses up to R500 000 and budgeted.
  
• Capital expenses up to R100 000 and not budgeted

• Prepare all elements for the budgeting process in consultation with the Sales and Marketing Director, and other relevant staff.
  
• Plan and prepare budgets and documents according to DMX s goals and objectives.
  

• Ensure that there is proper accounting and control over all income received (subscription income, equipment sales, interest income etc.), and expenditure discharged.
  A financial degree or equivalent qualification (CA, BCom or equivalent) Minimum 10+ years work experience in a finance role Minimum 3+ years experience in a Financial Manager role (Full financial spectrum budgeting, accounting control, statutory and compliance, financial reporting, finance operations - debtors, creditors, payroll, etc.) Strong computer literacy skills with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
