We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to support our multiple sites. This role involves up to 20% travel and offers a dynamic work environment with future career growth opportunities within a company that has a strong EHS culture.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of industrial experience in sectors such as general manufacturing chemical refinery or as a consultant to industry.
- Demonstrated experience in obtaining environmental permits and managing compliance with air water and waste regulations.
- Proficient in researching and interpreting environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with field teams and regulatory agencies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to environmental management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in environmental engineering.
Essential Duties
- Develop plan and coordinate activities related to air emissions water use and discharges waste material generation and disposal and regulatory agency communication.
- Identify solve or alleviate environmental programs at various facilities.
- Apply for permits related to air water and waste management.
- Complete and submit EPA forms and other regulatory documents.
- Research and stay uptodate on environmental regulations and their impact on projects.
- Conduct environmental audits and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with field teams to address and resolve environmental concerns offering solutions and support.
- Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and a solutionsoriented approach to environmental challenges.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
